HIV from Toilet Seat

Hello,

I want to share my story and wishing to get some response from you. Today i used the toilet in school (I usually don't go to toilet in school). When i checked the toilet seat i saw a drop of colorless fluid on the seat, not sure about what was it. Then i cleaned it with a piece of toilet paper because seeing it there would make me nervous even if i never sit on toilet seat in common toilets. After that because i was in a hurry i forgot to clean my hand and when i finished i wiped myself. Now my worry is that with my dirty hands (that i cleaned the toilet seat with) i wiped myself; could i be transmitted any STDs like HIV or so. I don't know why this incident made me really unconfortable. If you can answer me i will be glad.

Thank you!

You had no risk... HIV IS NOT transmitted that way cause it does not survive outside its host.. If you read through the forum you would know what a genuine risk is!! Please do not worry or post about such situations!!
