Isnt it possible

Me and my wife had a hiv test done for a life insurance policy 5 months ago both negative we have been married for 17 years.

Feb- May 14 I received handjobs from asian massage parlors in my area.  I did this because i though it was without risk for std and hiv .  on may 14th I received my last handjob. It was on thrusday, I also had sex with my wife on saturdary.  On monday I had a rash all over my penis. Went to local clinic, do did a blood test for hepres and syphilss.    both were negative.  but he did say the test might be to soon.  He said he wasnt sure if it was and STD.  went away in 5-6 days. I ask him what i could get from my hand job senerios he said "if she had semen on her hands from a previous customer or a hepres lsore on her hand I could get and std. As far as HIV he said it is possible for the infect semen to come in contact with opening of penis for HIV but not likely.  But he would not state why.  I dont believe I got the rash from my wife, she just isnt the cheating type and the rash shoed up less than 2 day later.  I will go back for 3 month herpes test.

Question do I need a HIV test as well. I really beleive my only risk was about 4 or 5 handjobs.  I dont believe my wife is an issue as we both had a negative hiv test in Jan and Like i said i dont think she has anything on the side.  The last couple of weeks I check hiv symtoms on the net again I keep have lymp node isuues in my chin and neck.  I cant tell if there swollen i just notice them constantly and feel something but i dont know how to describe it.

Any help would be great.

i'm pretty sure it would still have to be in fluid form, and i'm pretty sure they don't move that quick that it would still be.  even if it was left on her hand or the bed (which i doubt) it would be dried by the time it comes in contact with the hole.

plus a one-time exposure (low risk), transmitted the way you're worried (even more low-risk), basically leaves you with NO risk.  basically it's the same as in Dumb & Dumber, when the lady tells Lloyd his chance is 1 in a million with her and he says "SO YOU'RE TELLING ME THERE'S A CHANCE!!"

now with that reference i don't mean to call you dumb, but you're blowing that one tiny possibility WAAAAAAY out of proportion.  and to answer your question, YES your mind can EASILY manifest physical symptoms.  it's called anxiety.  there is one specific kind of anxiety called GENITALLY FOCUSED ANXIETY (which i almost brought up the first time i responded!  wish i had) where people feel guilty about cheating or something and they start to worry they caught something.  the excessive worry can cause a plethora of STD type symptoms, included RASHES.

you have nothing to worry about.  when you're done waiting however long you have to wait (can't remember), go get your negative test.  it will put your mind at ease.

bigdummy - your worries are even more ridiculous than justahobby (and he has about a 0.000000000000000000000000000000001% chance).  stop looking up symptoms and convincing yourself you have them.  i guarantee you did not contract HIV the way you describe.

I too was concerned with something like this. I wondered what if after I was finished with sex. Took the condom off, and got contaminated vaginal fluid on my hands. Then I grabbed some tissue, and wiped the tip of my penis. What if I unknowingly put contaminated vaginal fluid in my penis that went from my hands to the tissue..

People on the board claim that its not possible, but I don't know. I only got like 1 response. My tongue still doesn't feel normal, and neither does the inside of my mouth. I've always had dry skin, but it seems worse as well.

Hand-genital contact just never leads to HIV infection

If the massage girls didnt wash her hand and or came in contact with some semen uncleaned up from the last customer and then came in contact with the opening of my penis why wouldnt there be a risk of transmission if the previous cumtomer was hiv +.  Im mean it is a dark room and maybe it wasnt all clean up from the last guys explosion.

thank for and insight

Also can thinking about something all the time make you feel symptoms that are not really there.  The whole lymp nodes thing maybe.

i HIGHLY doubt you contracted HIV.  the fact that you're wondering is enough to go get tested but it will come back negative most definitely.

my guess is the rash was just a rash of sorts.  there are lots of things that can happen down there, problems in that area don't automatically mean they're sexually transmitted.  fungal infections, allergic reactions, bacterial infections, etc. the list goes on.

hand jobs are the safest act when it comes to STDs, as you already know.  i think it's safe to say, the only reason your doctor even brought up the far-fetched possibilities of HIV and Herpes is because despite how unlikely it is, he has to say it JUST INCASE, plus you were probably BEGGING him for an STD label to put on it (not that you want an STD but it seems like you're convinced and are therefore trying to get the doctor to admit it's possible).

also, no STDs show symptoms in 2 days  =D  it was probably an allergic reaction or infection that seems to have cleared up.  still you may want to follow up with your doctor incase you need antibiotics or anything (and of course i can't diagnose you so you should follow up until you get to the bottom of it anyway)

hope that helps!

You were at no risk for HIV or STD, in my opinion
and rash is not a symptom of any std
