Your test is more than conclusive. You don't have HIV
If I wanted to hit the maximum probably outdated 6 month window period, would that rapid test at 180 days suffice?
The maximum window period is 3 months and has been since 2004
Okay cool, i'll try to move on
I just know that the CDC website/hotline still says 3% of people dont turn positive til 6 months, and although that's outdate, its still out there and I wanna make sure I hitat mark. so would 180 days be considered 6 months? Pretending its still 2003
Yes. 90 days = 3 months 180 = 6 months
Do you recommend an Elisa 3rd gen test or are the rapids sufficient enough?
Not playing this game. 3 months IS CONCLUSIVE. no one tests positive after 3 months, probably not past 6 weeks to be honest.
Alright I'm sorry. But you can't fault someone for playing it safe and cautious when it comes to their health, with so much conflicting info out there.
If you look at the correct sites and talk to the right people nothing is conflicting.
Cdc also mentions 6 months in rare cases. also ny exposure was giving head to three different guys at same time.
Not even a risk. You can move on knowing you're okay.
I sure hope so. I'm so tempted by anxiety to keep testing. But I don't have to anymore right?
Yet another oraquick rapid fingerprick test at 189 days. Now I'm convinced I have a severe mental health obsession and need help. Thank you guys for your help and guidance.
