I had this cough for two weeks which became worse after drnking?is it related to hiv???

before two weeks i started gwtting cough which made me cough every 2 mins. it was worse in the night. so i started gargles of salt water and it became better in 3 days. as the cough was gone in 3 days i decided to drink with my frns . we had beer and vodka. it was weekend so i drank for 2-3 days. after this in one day the cough started again and this time it was horrible. now it lasted for one week and had no effect on gargles also.the symptom was only cough which started due to some irritation in my throat. no drip or anything. after a week it was gone. now on the new year eve i again drank but it was only beer no hard drink involved, and this time i did not got any cough. just a litlt bit nasal congestion and a feeling of lump in my throat, no cough this time.
in this whole episode no other symptoms like fever ,etc
i want to know what caused this cough
i also dont have any allergies nothing. was it any infection. i dont think it was infection
does drinking hard drink causes cough and not beer. why the cough did not appear when i drank beer.
my main ques is , is this cough related to HIV early symptom???

A cough has nothing to do with HIV. You had protected sex and therefore there is no chance you contracted HIV. This is a risk assessment forum and you have been correctly assessed as no risk. Consult your doctor about your cough, it's not hiv

If you used a condom and it did not break. You do not have an HIV concern. There are a lot of things that can cause a cough. Go see a Dr. about that.

If it was unprotected penetrative vaginal or anal sex then you require testing,if you used protection then forget about it.

What was your possible HIV risk. Never go by symptoms they can be very misleading.
