I had unprotected sex once in Cyprus

Hi there. I was looking for a male partner in Cyprus when on holiday to have some fun (not sex) and in the heat of the moment he penetrate me (i said no) but he forced his way on to me and pentrated me and also came inside me.

I have been unable to sleep since then (it was last year Oct 2007). I have gone to the DR and he has seen my anus and I have genital warts (although he is testing me for HIV and HPV). I am very scared. and nervous. and even suicidal. I dont want to have HIV. Do you thing I do? I am virtually so anxious I cant sleep my test results are due in a couple of days. I know I should be waiting but I need to talk to someone. Can you help me please

Hi. Ive had my test results back and i have Chlamydia (level of 2.3). my doctor gave me azithromycin biotic. is there anything to be concerned about?

I cope with like anyone else with a disease. Most all will live a normal life span. Main thing is not to contract HIV and if one does it's taking the medication religiously and keep all lab and doctor's appointments.

thanks teak. i appreciate your response. i went on to your profile and read that you have HIV. Sorry I did not know that. How do u cope with it? If one has HIV how long can one live and what can one do to try and stay healthy?

It was a HIGH risk exposure. I don't play guessing games about one's status. The test will tell if you were exposed or not.

Ok. But do u think I have it? Or rather should i say do u think i have a high chance of contracting it by the above? Or not.

There is nothing further that can be done. Stay busy and the time will pass quickly and you'll have your results.
