Took a 10 minute rapid finger prick test at 4.5 weeks. Are there third and fourth gen tests? Or just four? In other words do you guys know what gen my test was? Planned Parenthood in Philadelphia

No. 4th generation tests test for antigen and antibodies at the same time.

I had an exposure unprotected anal. I am not asking about my exposure. I am asking if finger prick tests are usually fourth gen. They had a small tester and dropped my blood in it with drops of other liquid. Thanks.

It's not strong evidence of anything.

Forget about gen and 4.5 week is very strong evidence that you didn't catch hiv but for conclusive result teat after 12 week. i am sure it will be negative.
