it has been 20 days passed since my exposure. You said I had no risk. However I have got to be sure that I am clear. I couldn't take any risk of infecting my wife. I made a big mistake and she shouldn't pay the penalty.
Which of the test  I should take to be %100 sure that I am ok.
Please help!
Thanks

It is actualy Herpes Zoster so it isn't contagious. It was on my right hip. Bump on my groin lymph is normal I guess. eventhough I hardly feel it.

It is contagious if you are in the blistering stage and you have contact with someone that has not had Chicken Pox.

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000858.htm

Herpes zoster can be contagious through direct contact in an individual who has not had chickenpox, and therefore has no immunity. Herpes zoster may affect any age group, but it is much more common in adults over 60 years old, in children who had chickenpox before the age of one year, and in individuals whose immune system is weakened. The disorder is common, with about 600,000 to one million cases in the U.S. per year

Then you have shingles. You don't get HIV from fingering and then sticking your fingers in your mouth. Stay away from anyone that has had chicken pox or you could infect them with chicken pox.

So you are say you contracted shingles? Well any one that has had chicken pox can contract shingles. Shingles is not HIV specfic. Is this self diagnosing or did your doctor diagnose shingles?
