Is HIv contiguous during window period?

4 days ago I had an unprotected sex with a stranger.Right after that I bought 2 HIV test kits and it shows both of us were negative. But I am worrying about that she was in her window period that way I will get HIV .Although the kits showed negative. So is HIV contiguous during window period?

Assuming your partner was HIV positive is going to make you anxious, most people around us are not HIV positive and unprotected intercourse is normal, risk for a male in a heterosexual event is actually miniscule, it has been observed that for a male to contract the virus, it takes multiple exposure with the HIV postive female partner.

Please relax, as suggested by CurfewX please take a test at the fourth week with a IV Generation HIV test and move on, I think you should be fine. Next time, insist on protection to stay away from STIs.

Simply if she doesn't have hiv , how she will transfer virus to you ... not logic
Regarding widow period yes it might be  in widow period but this is very very low possibility when you multiply it to odds of female transmission to male you will that your risk is very very very low and even practically zero
Best thing to do calm down , try to be busy  ... do hiv ag ab blood test at 6 weeks ... here in this forum the admins consider  4th generation at 4 week is OK... if no 4th generation available do antibody test 12 weeks .. expect negative results  .
Note : if you contact her and she confirmed that she did not have penetrative sex unprotected with stranger last 4 weeks so you do not need to test and move in

Yes, it is.  People can still infect another person during the window period.  Test for your conclusive result 28 days after the event using a 4th generation test, or 12 weeks after the event using any other test.
