Is what my doctor told me true?

My doctor told me that I am not at risk at all for HIV, etc. if there was not a lot of blood shed from my finger after touching/poking it accidentally with a disposable needle. Is this true, or should I get a second opinion?

* I read on past posts that people are at risk even if there is no blood shed

School bleachers, accidentally touched a needle between the cracks. No blood was shed, but I do not know if the needle could have still poked me even if no blood was shed.

So are you implying that what the doctor said is correct and that I am in no risk?

Where did you read that? Because we never said it here.

What was your risk?
