Hello Guys Paranoid Here.

Ok my question is about kissing. I've established by reading several cases here on medhelp and freedom that kissing does not have any risks. But I went on CDC and they completely confused me because it said that deep kissing carries a remote risk if one has sores and bleeding gums. I'm confused.

Teak And Lizzie have always helped with their answers.

So guys does Kissing weather its deep kissing or down the throat. Ok let's just say the most passionate kiss. Would that transmit HIV at all? Is completely ZERO risk???

I've realised only way to get over these things is educating my self correctly so I don't let it affect my day to day life.

Your response are deeply needed :)

Many thanks

Thanks for your reply. I am seeking Professional help. But the problem they take forever to get in touch. So in the mean time I'm just educating myself within the fields. So trying to get the correct information from a trusted source.

I think what confuses most people is the theoretical risk (calculated risk) which is understandable because they don't exactly say theory, so people like myself get worried.

I just had to understand the difference between Reality And Theory hence the very unorthodox questions.

Sorry if I've annoyed anyone.

Hello there sorry for the ignorance.

The same process is repeated with kissing, which is 100% safe, but does carry theoretical risks which are as likely to be realised as you getting hit by lightning whilst kissing. In fact less likely

What did you mean by that I'm a little baffled lol :S

Oh I understand, so CDC goes under the eyes as never wrong hence they put it up. And Theory is completely different from Reality. Because in real like kissing is Zero risk. :D.

I was just a little paranoid that's all. Hence I posted the question. :D

The CDC takes an extremly conservative stance on HIV transmission. Thats because it doesnt distinguish between theoretical and very low risk. You could, theoretically, catch HIV from oral sex if the right circumstances prevailed. However in practice, based on the number of documented cases and the experience of medical profesionals that work on this site and others, the risk is so slim as to be practically non existant, and therefore oral sex is in reality no risk. But the CDC sees a theoretical risk and posts that risk on its website, without any qualifying comments to indicate that the actual risk to the individual is non existant.

The same process is repeated with kissing, which is 100% safe, but does carry theoretical risks which are as likely to be realised as you getting hit by lightning whilst kissing. In fact less likely.
