Protected Anal Sex

A few nights ago on Saturday night, I had receptive anal sex with a condom.  I know he had a condom on because I put the lube on him and myself.  I am scared now that maybe I have HIV now, or what IF the condom broke?  He never said anything about the condom breaking.  I'm freaking out now.  Do you think I have a reason to worry at all?  Should I go on PEP meds right away?  Please help!

why would he not say anything if the condom broke?  wouldnt that mean that he just exposed himself to "you" and how does he know that "you" dont have hiv?

ppl who use condoms for protection will definitely be upset if there was condom failure.

so NO...you do not need to worry about having protected sex and NO you dont need PEP

It's funny, but when one is in a panic (such as myself) we tend not to think clearly like what you wrote.  I am the type of person that LOVES to worry (not that I enjoy, but i'm great at it!)

So just to be clear, you don't think I should rush into the HIV clinic tomorrow morning and ask for PEP and also get tested....which would probably be way too early.  They would probably just look at me and say "really?  you want PEP for that??!"  am I right?

I mean, he probably would have said if the condom broke, but I will have to wait till December until I will fully know for sure I guess.  It sucks f'ing up your own life and I wonder why I do such stupid things?!
