Lips

Can I ask are lips consider a mucous membrane?
I ask cause the person who sexually assaulted me had seminal fluids on his hand and they did touch my lips. And he did touch my lips with his semen.
And would this be consider a hiv risk?

Semen directly on lips would be a theoretical risk only.  Note that Dr. Hook said he did not recommend testing for the event mentioned.  This situation is a non-event, as the fluid was on the person's hands first.  HIV is never transmitted via one body part, to another, and then another.  You have zero risk for HIV infection here.

Is it because the lips are a mucous membrane? I’m just nervous cause he is positive. I’m sure he didn’t get it inside my mouth but he definitely touched my lips.
Also why do you guys zero Risk for oral sex
And semen on my lips is theoretically ?
I’m testing this week 2 weeks post pep.
Theoretical in that it does not happen in the real world.  We really can not keep assuring you. You had no risk.  My suggestion is to consider that you actually have anxiety as the disorder that is inhibiting your life.

This is the only reason I’m concern. The dr said it’s a risk.

Your threads about this encounter when you had another concern are closed. Were you advised here to  test for the encounter or were you told it is zero risk? hiv is instantly dead in air, so dead hiv on a person's hand can't infect you.
