Lymph nodes in groin?

Can anyone tell me if they think my latest question on my abdominal pain and sore testicles could be related to my lymph nodes in my groin?

Where exactly are the lymph nodes in the groin? Do they need to be swollen to be causing this sort of pain?

I don't seem to see anything swollen in my groin, but could my lymph nodes be giving this sort of pain without me knowing?

When people talk about the lymph nodes causing them pain, are they always swollen?

Thanks.

I am not a Dr but you could have thrush, you can get this orally symptoms are white toungue, white patches in your mouth, sore throat if it travels down that way and it can also get into you gut causing you to get the runs.

Hi Joe C,
Thanks for the prompt response.

Below is my story.

Thanks for your efforts on this, muchly appreciated.

Hi, I recently had protected vaginal sex with a female sex worker. At the time I was extremely drunk but am sure that I had proper protected sex. During the sex I performed cunnalingus on her for a brief moment (I think about 1 min). My problem is that I suffer from bleeding gums about every second day when I brush my teeth of a morning. I had not brushed my teeth since that morning about 15 hrs prior and never saw any blood. But can it get into the gap where the blood comes out?

I also took the used condom off (no ejaculation) for masturbation, a few minutes later put it back on. But I am not sure if I even put it back on the same way.

A few days later I noticed I had a slightly sore throat on one side which lasted about two weeks. I had no other noticeable swollen lymph nodes. About 11 or 12 days after exposure I had diarrhea, and day and night sweats which lasted about a week. But my doctor gave me medication for this which cleared it up.

My toungue is also an unusually white fury colour at the back as well.

I had a full HIV/STD negative blood test done 2 weeks and 3/4 days after exposure.

Do you think it is likely I have anything/HIV?

I have read all the other forums about it all being low risk, but i just need to hear it for myself. What about the reuse of the condom if I put it on the wrong way?

Is the 8 week test good enough? I am hearing mixed responses to this.

Thanks,
eagerly waiting your response Doc.
