Could an unopend condom be infected/contaminated with HIV?

I picked up a condom near a door to the entrance to our dorm
building in college, It was perfectly sealed and unopened( probably
someone dropped it while getting keys out of there pockets.. But i want
to know if there would be a chance some one could contaminate the
condom? plus i waited 12 hours b4 i used it... would that kill the
Hiv... Can HIV even live outside the human body for that long for it too
infect someone.
If it had holes in it would leak so no it was unopened..

My concern was that i used the condom after 12 hours from when i found it, i was worried if someone could possibly inject it with HIV... but even if this did happen how long does hiv survive out side the body for it to infect.

No it is not possible to inject HIV into a condom. You are correct that it does no infect outside of the body. You had no risk for HIV
