No they are not symptoms of HIV which you know you don't have by your conclusive test result.
?Is my above comment true
Thanks teak! A friend said chest infections is due to bronchitis as I smoke and that chest infections and muscle pains aren't symptoms of hiv
You don't have to worry about HIV. If you are worried about your aches and pains see your doctor to find out what is causing them. You know it's unrelated to HIV.
Ok so I don't need to worry about my chest or aches and pains I'm getting? Also if I was bleeding its fine?
Your 14 week test is conclusive. Excessive drinking and sex don't mix..
hi lou i know i sound stupid but im a 19 year old male and gay from the UK and on January i had anal sex with someone, i asked before we did it if he had anything he said no, do you count window period after the day it happend? i tested negative 2,10 weeks at gum clinic and 14 weeks at doctors, but now i have a chest infection coughing for a week i know i sound like a weirdo, but im scared cause for the last 8 months all i have in my head is google hiv window period to check, some sites say 6 month and 10 years and others 3 month im just so scared and depressed i dont even let my family drink out the same bottle, when i went out 3 weeks ago on a night out i ask my friend did i sleep with anyone she went of course not you were with me < now thats whats scaring me paronia any suggestions please i feel i cant move on
you do not need further testing...you do NOT have hiv.

i also did onother one today the 29 September 2010. must i also do another one. please advice guyz.
I went for another one on the 18 September 2010, different centres now, 11th week, it became Negetive. do i stil have to continue?
As I said...unlikely to change
do you think after 10 weeke, 2 weeks to make it 12 can make any different / changes.
do you think 2 weeks from now will it change guyz? i tested 10 weeks already.
There has never been anyone contract HIV outside the healthcare field by a needle stick, excluding IV drug abusers.
you know what thinking of all this i just think i have it already.
Hi Vance
I am saying this because i am always thinking of all this, i sometimes loose my mind, concentration, feeling down may be is just that she told me that she is infected though she didnt show me the results & i am not saying i dont trust her because i dont see the reasons of lying to me and i am scared realy. Or is because of my Anxiety, when my (brother or sister) Flow1987 told me about this "avarage of HIV positive results can be detect (depend on the people) after 25 days of exposed/infected". I don't just not believe it. I have got 68 days after exposed, not because what he is saying is not true, you know it happens to each an everyone not believe something true, is not easy really. Flow1987 please, i am not saying what you are saying is not true, what ever knowlegde that you have i respect that, i surender & i salute that once more. Vance thanks sharing your knowledge, not only you guyz, all of you, Teak and everyone....really appreciate! and looking foward!
Your test is unlikely to change.
From 2. 1/2 months period as Flow1987 indicated that the average time that someone will test positive is 25 days after being exposed/infected. What are the chances except having peace of mind fully 3 months test? thanks for ur responds guyz i realy appreciate this.
i am sure u will test neg by 3 months as 2 months test is. try not to worry which is hard to say. getting involved in to the dailly work will keep u away fro ur thought process. let us know ur results
If you were thinking about it too much, I would think that your blood pressure would be higher. When I went through an HIV scare, my blood pressure was skyrocketing. But everyone is different, of course.
Your 10 week sero-negative test rules in your favor. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you continue to worry and wish to get tested again, the 14 week test (this would be on October 11th, 2010, 98 days following exposure) would be conclusive.
It's rare for people with HIV to test sero-negative following 3 months of infection. The average time that someone will test sero-positive is 25 days after being exposed/infected.
