No you should not worry about a rah with relation to HIV.
Unless she tested for HIV her other tests would have said nothing.
I was tested 3 months after my last exposure before i met her and was negative. We were having sex for nearly 3 months when i got tested again and was negative. She is getting tested for her yearly check up on the 4th of august. The only concern I have is that my rash is still there, it has gone down a little, but is still there. She has gotten western blot tests done which indicated her of her Lyme disease. She was sick and got all sorts of blood work done to find what was wrong, which was Lyme disease. Would this test have indicated her of HIV if she had it? Should I worry about my rash not going away yet?
thank you for your advice. very good advice if you ask me.
Always use condoms unless you are in a monogamous relationship, you've tested together and you can trust each other HIV has no age barriers.
If your girlfriend is telling the truth and always practiced safe sex every time and he was her only other partner before you, then you absolutely could not have gotten HIV from her. But it is still always best to test and be absolutely sure then to base your decisions off of someone's words. However, if she was willing to get tested and everything, then I really think you have nothing to worry about. And remember- the only way to know YOUR status is to test at 3 months after the LAST unprotected exposure.
Just some words of advice- you look pretty young and I understand wanting to have unprotected sex while in a monogamous relationship with your girlfriend.. but even if she is on birth control, this is just not an effective way to prevent pregnancy and (obviously) STDs. It's always a good idea to use condoms. This is just my opinion.
yes i have discussed them with her. She got a western blot test doe in the winter and she had lyme. Her test is next week. She had a test last year and only had one partner before me, which was in her relationship and used condoms.
Your rash has absolutely nothing to do with HIV. If anything, it's from laying out on the dock and a dermal reaction. Lyme disease has nothing to do with HIV.
Your girlfriend and yourself have chosen to have unprotected sex. I am sure you knew your status before going into that- did you ask your girlfriend her status? If she is aware of hers and has tested negative outside the window period and has not had any exposures since her negative test, then she too is negative. Have you discussed your concerns with your girlfriend?
