Non reactive is the same as negative.  How long after exposure was your test taken?  3 months is considered conclusive.  6 weeks is highly encouraging.

None-Reactive, Not Detected etc. Are just other ways of saying negative I believe.

1. Turn your "CAPS" off
2. You're conclusively HIV negative. No more testing required

i slepted with this guy back in may 09 a few times. then in late aug i broke out with hearpes genital as well and very flu sick for almost 2 weeks never been as sick as that in my life. everything went away and i have been scared ever since of it being hiv. its been almost a year since i slept with that guy and its been 8 months since i had the one hearpes and flu like symptoms but i have been experencing alot of tingle feeling within my legs feet arms and hands. i just go some blood work done 2 weeks ago and my doctor called me last week to tell me it came back nonreactive and i need to be tested again in 3 months. what does that mean?

Dear devine,

relax. You are negative. Now begin to get some closure on your negative result to prevent an unprotected encounter again later on.

Best of Luck,
Bobo

Dear Dr.,

My bf's HIV result is non reactive, but the site code shows 01.  What does 01 mean?  his other normal data all showed PH in site code, but only HIV is 01, what means by 01??? I am so lost.

Does it mean he needs to retest in future?  He told me his last exposure is one year ago.

Thank you!
