Need answer

I am convinced my brother is hiv pos. he had this rash show up recently that I am convinced is hiv. He claims he got tested but I don't believe him.

Anyways, earlier I used a pair of tweezers to pick a scab (I know it was dumb but it was driving me crazy) the scab bled a lot. After I was done I noticed blood on them that wasn't mine. They are my brothers tweezers what are my chances of becoming infected also? I'm super nervous about this and iv pretty much convinced myself I have it.

It was a tiny amount of blood, but I read that only a little bit not seen my the naked eye can transmit hiv,

Still not a risk, no more "what if's" because they don't happen.

Okay thank you. I'm just worried because I didn't notice it until after I used them. So could it have been wet when I started? If it was is that then a risk?

The "websites" you found were written by idiots.
1. It's unlikely your brother has HIV, as most people don't and a rash means nothing. I think you have anxiety and are jumping to conclusions with no real information.
2. Blood is not a risk unless injected into the vein or deep muscle/tissue
3. HIV is not transmitted outside the body
4. More then a little blood is needed and when there is blood, the virus is deactivated quickly after it leaves the body. So the "dried" blood you think you saw was not a risk.

Not trying to be a pain but could you tell me why? I found on a couple websites you should never share tweezers and razors etc with an hiv pos person because of transmission risk? So I'm freaking out a little bit. And then one dr said there only needed to be such a small amount to transmit that it's not seen my the naked eye which made it worse! Thank u for responding.
