i admit that it doesn't mean very much...but in my opinion...those who have tested negative should move on with their life...get off the forum. this is not a social club...a place to come and talk with your new forum friends...there are sites for that. when everyone "decides" they want to help others...you end up with a multitude of the same answers...causing new questions to be pushed to the bottom and sometimes overlooked for quite a while. you end up "rediscussing" your symptoms versus someone elses.
i am not trying to be rude...and i have a heart load of compassion for those who are suffering. i just take hiv very seriously and this forum needs more of a serious tone if it is going to be successful. the games played...the different screen names from one person...everyone "hanging around"...all of these are disruptive to what the purpose of this forum is all about. i know that i, alone, cannot change the world...much less this forum...but when it's time to leave, it's time to leave. your hiv scare consumed your life for a few weeks...and for some a few months...and i feel that a couple will be here for years. move on...start to live again...and if you want to stop by every once in a while with some wisdom (mike)...then your comments are always welcomed and appreciated. but don't let this consume your life any more.
i wish all of you a life filled with happiness and success. i pray that whatever brought you to this place will not bring you back. the easiest way to prevent hiv is to always protect yourself. look out for #1...regardless of what the other guy or gal says. you can NEVER be sure of one's status just by asking. your life depends on YOU.
i would give ANYTHING if my son had not been so careless. you that are negative have the opportunity to NOT end up like he did.
