One more question/Herpes Sore/HIV

I already asked a question about semen gettting IN the urethra as far as a mutual/j/o risk and was advised that even if semen got into my urethra from an hiv infected man it would be NO risk.

I have genital hsv2 herpes and wonder if the semen got on a herpes sore, would THIS pose a risk?

Mutual masturbation is not a risk regardless of whether the fluids involved are vaginal or semen.

Hello,

Dizzave, sorry to hear about your anxiety over your situation, I'm going through the same.

Joggen, thank you for your comment. If you notice I didn't ask anything in relation to my specific situation, I noticed a comment in this thread that I had a question about and also directed it to the individual who started the thread.

Sorry if I was out of place to ask.

Please don't hijack other people's threads. Post a new question if you want a risk assessment.

Hello everyone,

I hope it's ok for me to join in this discussion. I had a possible exposure about 4.5 weeks ago and trying to understand all sorts of things.

Dizzave, you say that if HIV infected semen got into the urethra there would be no risk of infection? Can you please elaborate on that for me? Would this be different than an infected female's vaginal fluid getting into the urethra?

Thanks guys.
