This is an HIV Prevention Forum not a relationship counselling forum.
kindly move along...you did not put yourself at risk.
No but how much blood would make this exposure infectious?
did you have blood all over you? NO
now move along...you have been assessed as not being at risk.
Also how would it matter if saliva was non infectious if she had cuts and blood in her mouth?
i hope ur right, because this woman cud have had a higher viral load, the spanish and san fransisco study was involving people getting treatment!
teak has not given you false information, you did not have a risk. Whatever symptoms you may be having are a result of something totally unrelated to HIV. You will not be HIV negative from this incicent.
In future if you can't handle the uncertaintly then wait until you are in a monogomous relationship and have both tested HIV negative. Your anxiety is high in a no risk situation.
* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusively negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusively negative results or a no-risk situation will be based upon the criteria established by MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:
