OraQuick Home test oral swab

Hi Team,

Thanks for your support.
I am confused little with Oraquick home test in US(mouth Swab),  The false negative rate is very high. and one of reason is "the person tested too soon after the infection"
1- So testing at 5th week is still considered too soon?
2- Is this 95% of 4-6 weeks of detection is for blood or finger prick only. Or it applies to oral swab too.
3- Who are people show infection later. i mean medically, how they are different than 95%
4- Does Antibodies produced at same time in Oral Gum line fluid as blood. Please note that Oraquick is not saliva test. It test the Oral fluid from gumline.
5- When person have less antibodies? it says when antibodies are very less in the fluid it gives false negative. Is it not very sensitive test?
6- Do you where in Miami, I can take rapid Hiv Combo test?

Hi Doctor,

I gathered all my courage and went for final finger stick test (blood). Test came back negative. Test was done using clearview stat pack hiv1/2. But I am not satisfied with the way consoler conducted the test. Actually she always performed Oraquick. But they have finger stick also available when I asked for that test. She called someone else to prick my finger and she was not aware of 15 minutes time for results. when single line appeared in couple of minutes she was about to dispose off test and moved the test upward down . When I interpreted and told her test is still running she pulled it back from the dispose off bin , she waited few more minutes and let me go. So whole test took 7-8 minutes when recommended is 15 minutes. Should I go for another test?

You didn't take an Oraquick test. All the questions you are asking are in the kit.
