Am Damn Worried

Hello Doctor,

I am an INDIAN male and have committed a huge mistake.

I got sloshed on 14.02.2010, and on the way back home I picked up a sex worker.... I think she would be HIV positive as she was available for Usd. 2.5

She took me to her bed and lowered her panties... She than slipped on a condom, and I would have probably stroked her 10 - 15 times ( no more than 2 mins).... I then realized what I was doing and immediately withdrew myself.... I did not cum.

However, after  I removed my penis, I observed that the condom had slipped and my penis was not erect ( sleeping position)... excuse me as I do not know the correct English word.

I am not sure if there was any precum on my penis.

I then stopped the act and left from there.

Since then, I am seeing a WHITE color powder coming on my penial shaft when I rub it ( not sure if there wasnt any before this act).

I am having occasional headache ( which I had earlier as well), cough ( not dry though), pain in my back muscles, and some itchy sensation on my penis.

Assuming that the CSW was HIV+, do you think I have contracted the virus? I am having sleepless nights since then and I am unable to concentrate on my work.

Please help me out with your comments.

if someone experiences ars symptoms...it happens at 2-4 weeks post infection, and lasts for 1-2 weeks.

you cant diagnose hiv by symptoms.  the same symptoms of early infection can also be associated with MANY common everyday illnesses.

the only way to know one's status is by testing.

Symptoms or the lack of symptoms won't tell you anything about your status. Test at the proper time.

Dear Lizzie,

Thank you for your reply... I now recollect the date and it was 11/02/2010... which means it is now 5 weeks since that HORRID day. Can you please let me know, if i would be having any symptoms in this short time?

Thanks.

you finishing has nothing to do with infection to you...only to her IF you were positive.

you can test 6-8 weeks post exposure for a good indication of your status, but follow up at 3 months for a conclusive result.

Lizzie,

I did not take the effort to search it as well.. I got damn afraid and left immediately..... What is the chance of me contacting a HIV, if I did not cum?

Guys thanks for taking out time to read and respond to my post.

What I mean by condom " Slipped" is that when I removed the penis from her vagina, the condom was not to be seen.... It slipped during the act and I do not recall if I did stroke her without the condom ( which could be a possibility).

The only positive for me in this whole episode is that  I DID NOT CUM... Does it put me to a low risk of contracting HIV? If NO how much is the chance of me contracting HIV through this stupid act of mine?

Of Course this is all assuming that the woman was HIV+, and I just hope that she was not..

this is not the doctor's forum.

nothing that you have described put you at risk for hiv.  protected sex = protected sex.  as long as the head of your penis was covered...slippage is not a concern for hiv.

From what I rather is even though the condom slipped your penis head was still covered, so this would not be a risk for HIV.
