bubble guts and cough

received a negative antibody  and western blot at about 5 weeks... but still have diarhhea and a cough... after 2 protected sex acts.. no breaks... how much should i rely on these results

* Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.

From a purely testing point of view - you can;t rely on your results at 5 weeks. I'm wondering why though you say you had a WB test? The WB is used normally to confirm as positive ELISA HIV antibody test.

As for you risk, you don;t say what it was. But ultimately id doesn;t matter as you used condoms and you say they didn;t break during the intercourse. If thats the case then you have had no risk of HIV infection.

HIV cannot pass through or permeate latex condoms. Period.

So, on the basis of what you have reported; no risk and no need to test either.
