Oral sex risk

I recently had protected sex with a bargirl in Dubai, but unprotected oral sex whilst having a cold sore. I developed a sore throat and swollen glands in my neck within two days, and flu like symptoms after  10 days. What are the risks associated with oral sexs with cold sores.

I performed the oral sex with an open cold sore, so you are telling me this is still no risk. The flu like symptoms could be anything  as could a sore throat.  I am ready to move on but need a little reassurance.

Yes, you got it right, if you have read what I told you in the post above, you should know that you never really had a risk and don't even need any testing.

Yes, your symptoms are not in relation to HIV.

Doesn't matter, my opinion still won't change.

You could frenzy over this issue for the next 3 months but I can guarantee you, your test result would be negative, you can't get HIV by the incidence you've mentioned.

Reason :
1. Saliva doesn't contains HIV

2. Even if you had an open cold sore, it had to be a gapping wound and severe enough to bleed all the time.

3. Assuming, your sore was severe, still no risk since, your partner needed to bleed from her mouth and that had to contact your ipen sore, PS: the amount of blood from your partner's mouth had to be substantial for any risk.

4. If you think practically and approach the event rationally, you'd see it's impossible for you to acquite HIV from this situation, thats why I keep saying 'Practically, Oral sex = No risk" !

Please move on, you're in the clear.
