Thanks for all your advice. It was too scary, 1/10,000 is still >0. So I wonder about PEP. In CDC or somewhere, it still stated that PEP maybe considered. There is still time to take, about 3 hour before passing deadline of 72hour. So much frustrating!

I've had a similar situation - where I was concerned about what I did with a canker sore in my mouth as well - I've also been told not to worry and that its considered no risk at all. From what the Doctors say, oral sex only carries a risk of 1/10,000 and that is only if the guy actually cums in your mouth. But many studies have demonstrated that positive and negative couples engaged in unprotected oral and the negative partners never became positive.
If you need too, test - a 4 week test will be pick up almost 90% of infections - which will give you a great relief before your conclusive test later on at 3 months

Hey goong, If you click my name you'll see I had a similar situation where I thought I was at risk because i performed cunnilingus with two canker sores on my bottom lip. I was completely nervous about the whole situation, but I tested negative all the way to 12 weeks. Even though I was told that it was no risk, I still needed the reassurance. Whether you need the reassurance it's up to you, but listen to these two individuals and the two wonderful Drs. They know what they;re talking about. Take care

Maybe due to the cut/ bleeding from cankers / gums?
Why would Teak's answer change and give you different advice?
Thanks for your advise. I am so confused 'coz on Internet, I found some article talking that oral still exposed to HIV+, especially when there's a pain in mouth. I suspect cankers is a kind of pain (sometimes it also bleed) Should I advise my friend using PEP since it's only 1 day ago? Does PEP help to reduce such risk?
Oral sex is not a risk with or without cankers.
