Other Causes of Swollen Lymph Nodes

Hello, I have had swollen lymph nodes in my groin and underarms for about a month now.

I have seen the Dr. and others post about how there are many different causes of swollen lymph nodes.  However, I have never once seen anyone set forth one of these other causes.  Does anyone have any info about other causes for lymph node swelling?  Specifically in the groin or under arm area?

Thanks.

There are many, many things that can cause enlarged lymph nodes.

Yes, it could be cancer--blood tests don't show all of these.

TB is another possibility,

as are other infections

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - This is only one of a number of different symptoms, and typically, the symptoms do not occur singly--that is, a person has a number of symptoms occurring at the same time.

Easiest way- google it and you will find more reasons for gland swelling than you were looking for.

And most important, you need to leave them alone. If you keep messing with them it can cause them to swell and stay swollen.
