Late detection of HIV antibody

Hi Sir,

I am feeling tingling in hands and feet and also feeling pin & niddle like sensation in hand and feet after tested negative in HIV Ab/AG combo test at 129 days post exposure. my exposure was a low risk exposure (protected sex with CSW using condom).

Is above sensation any thing to do with HIV?

Is there any possibility to detect HIV antibody late and show positive even after 129 days, If the Virus is slow progression virus and replication rate is very slow?

please help

Regards

Your test shows you are HIV negative. Go to a doctor to check your other symptom. It is not HIV related. At all.

Hi

I am still feeling pin and niddle like sensation in hand and feets. I am also feeling numbness in hands and fingers. also feeling like bytes of insects in my feet. I have no other symptoms.

I am tested negative in HIV combo test by CMIA at 136 days post exposure also.

I am not understanding the above symptom I am having. can HIV combo test be positive at 5 to 6 months post exposure. I initially got HIV PCR RNA test positive at 43 days post exposure with only 225 copies/ml viral load which I thought false positive after getting negative result in repeat test of PCR RNA from other Lab. though the 2nd RNA test was after taking three days of ART.

Please help

NO

Is there any slow progression HIV virus  NO

You have to let this go...you never had an HIV risk.  Any "symptoms" you may be experiencing are not related whatsoever to HIV.

"my exposure was a low risk exposure (protected sex with CSW using condom)."

That's ZERO risk, not low risk.  You don't have an HIV concern.
