Performed oral sex, and losing my mind! Please read.

Hello!

Hope everyone is doing well. I've been reading the boards here a bit and wanted to get some thoughts on my situation. I have read similar postings but just curious on my behalf.

Basically, I met a girl at the gym I attend and we hooked up. Nothing crazy, we kissed/made out and I performed unprotected oral sex on her for maybe 30-45 secs. This was at on Sept 28, so a few weeks ago. I don't know her HIV status but she did tell me she does an annual check up for such things. I guess what concerns me is a combination of a few things.

1) She was open and told me she recently had intercourse about a week prior with someone (I don't know if this protected/unprotected). So, this has me concerned as well (she was tested several days after but i know that is too soon). Wish I had thought more about this before doing anything to her. Oh, she also just got her period.

2) I started having strange symptoms after this hookup, throat feeling tight, weird skin irratiaon (no rashes) just sorta warm fuzzy feeling on the back of my lower neck/upper back and sometimes arms and left leg. There is also some slight chest ache. Something else I noticed is my Lymph nodes in my neck feel enlarged? I can't see them but can feel them if I try to touch for them...could of been that way prior...no clue.  Lastly, quick pelvic like discomfort (not really sure how to explain).

3) I do have bleeding gums when I brush my teeth sometimes (I brushed about 2-3 hours before this happened). Besides that, my oral hygiene is I suppose.

I did get tested two weeks after the hookup for HIV (4th gen test wRfx?) Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, & syphilis...all of which came back Negative. The HIV test I read was too soon unfortunately (I plan on taking another one soon).

I have been stressing a lot over this and I am thinking all of this is due to anxiety more than anything as I can easily worry over something like this. We talked for several days after but she ended up going through some personally issues I guess and moved. Have not spoken to her since.

Am I worrying too much over this? Would really appreciate any advice!

Sorry for the long post, I was trying to keep it short but wanted to be as detailed as possible.

You do Not have HIV from the event that you described.  There is not a test for herpes but a test to see if you have been exposed to either HSV-1 or HSV-2.  It is only a test for anti-bodies. That is you were exposed to it. The only way to test for herpes is if there is an open sore on your body.

SInce you just did oral you can't have HIV so the body aches are an unrelated issue.

Since you are so tense the pain is likely the result of over-analyzing and scaring yourself, because fear makes you tense up and believe that  minor pains that you always had are new.
Thank you all for your response, its really appreciated and I have been feeling better and thinking about it less. I still do feel achy sometimes, but not as much. Only thing left is something in my left Jaw is swollen or at least feels that way and the strange skin irritation keeps coming and going.

In any even, you guys keeping doing what you are doing. It really helps.
Hello everyone!

Just wanted to followup, I took a DUO test at 45 days and the test came back non-reactive. So I should be okay at this point? Is it necessary to take another test at 3 months? Still getting like a skin irritation problem and raw fleshy feeling in my mouth. Though, those may be due to something else.

In any event, feel much more relief after getting the results!
You have been told that your tests are pointless, so posting them here after ignoring that advice does not make them important. You need to focus on the  reality science instead of making up your own science,
Thank Anxious, I'll move forward and put this behind me. Appreciate all of those that replied to me.
It's not really easy to get it behind. I understand u, am having d same symptoms u're having. My skin is so sensitive and I do have a burning sensation in my skin wit sore throat. I av done antibody test 8weeks after possible low risk exposure. But am tinking it's our anxiety dats causing it.

You never had a risk with this girl. HIV isn't transmitted by oral sex nor kissing. The saliva in your mouth would have deactivated the virus (if any).

Thanks for replying Malbat, appreciate that. So, I suppose there is no need further testing? Just somewhat concerned about what cdc said and other things on the interwebz. Guess, reading so much has gotten the better half of me.
Still a little concerned over this, especially with the body aches (which I didn't mention before). I'm thinking it might be a combination of the anxiety or blood pressure (was told it was on the high side at the doctor's office). Jist wondering if there is any other advice or say. If not, I really do appreciate your speedy response Malbat.
Wanted to just post another comment. Decided to go and take another round of test. This time for Herpes and HIV again and maybe something else due to some body ache pain I have been getting. Hoping all goes well. Will post results once they are in if.
