So no matter how week the immune system of someone who is hiv + they will always have hiv antibodies??
Im worried about hiv because i am a 24 year old heterosexual male. In 2005 i had unprotected sex with a female 3 times, who i later found out had been with at least 3 other males of unknown hiv status during that time. I took my first hiv antibodies test in 2007, two years after possible exposure and it was negative. I tested 2 more times in 2007 with hiv antibodies test both were negative. And i tested last week, 5 years after exposure, it was non-reactive (rapid test),
What im worried about is that since i started worring about maybe having hiv in 2007 my tongue turned white, i get occasional brusing on my arms without injuring them, my skin is itchy all the time and sometimes i think i see really small red spots on the itchy areas, I get dry cough about twice a year that goes away after about 1 to 2 months and the skin around my eyes is greenish/purple and it sags, it looks thinner than before.
ohh yeah i also have something in my throat that feels like mucus that never goes away. Ive had all these symptoms since 2007, almost 3 years now but i have tested negative for hiv antibodies 4 times. But ive never actually tested for the hiv virus itself.
as long you tested after 3 months from your last unprotected exposure..the negative result will be conclusive..
the body does not 'stop' making antibodies
the reason im worried is that these symptoms have not gone away eventhough they have not gotten worse. The only thing that has gotten a little worse is that some of my hair on my head is falling out like in a patch its going bald, one patch on my right side of my head is going bald and other spots on top of my head.
