Please Help-- unprotected sex with transex living with HIV
Hi everyone, i am from Pakistan, 34 years old and father of one. Since 2 years having on and off fever daily around 99 - 99.6 (37.2 - 37.5) and in midnight comes to 98 (36.7) even some times lower and other symtoms like dark urine, uncomfortable feelings near liver ( i have fatty liver but i am not too fat) my last report of ALT in september 2011 increased upto 65 (normal range: 45), headache, back pain, cold and warm feelings in legs, acne and or like acne on forehead, small lymph nodes in neck, ESR always high, CRP normal, stomach pain stools, sliva taste is different, etc.
In Jan 2010 when i had my last exposure, other than my wife, with a transex (now after 2yrs he told me he is living with HIV). He is from germany. He had a great website and from almost two months he suddenly stopped it and after my continuous search i found him and he unveiled that he has HIV from many years. My exposure with him in january 2010 (2 years, 1 month back) was :: i sucked his penis unprotected deep for almost a minute but when he started sucked mine he used condom and when i asked why??? he said it is good to use condom. Though i stopped everything right there but i am pretty sure that i took lots of sliva in me and may be he had some cuts or problem of pre cum etc. and i am also sure i had some problem of throat at that time.
In Pakistan one cannot believe on the tests. u never know they will do it the right way or may be government dont wana show high fig. of patients living with HIV to the world. 2ndly all big laboratories perform duo test in which p24 and antibody 1&2 tests which i also read one thread of Dr.HHH that this test cheep and not accurate.
I know ppl on medhelp and around will shoot that i never had an exposure and or my tests are conclusive and etc etc.. but y then i never got this kind of temprature before 2010, even this kinda feelings, even now my ALT increases, even my two small lymph nodes comes in April 2010 (3 months after my exposure). he stopped working and confirmed he has had HIV etc. please help me in a serious way as i know i am not phsyco.
My tests in sep.2011 (after 1yr.8mnths) of DUO HIV was negative (but they send the blood to karachi to perform this test next day around 800km. from where i live).... and in Dec.2011 from another lab negative on the same day again that was duo test.
Please if you all agree that i am perfectly ok and these symtoms are not because of HIV even i had sex who has had HIV at the time of exposure.. Answer me : shall i perform unprotected sex with my wife now.. as i am still using protection since my exposure and 2ndly i dont need any further testing for HIV even after 5 years or 10 years or in my life.... IN RESPECT of this particular exposure and these tests are ok and conclusive. Thanks. God Bless us ALL.

you have TWO things that PROVE you DONT have hiv:
1...you NEVER had a risk
2...you have CONCLUSIVE tests that prove this
your problem is in NO WAY related to hiv.
accept your negative status and move on with your life.

Hi Exprerts i am sorry i am writing again as someone confused me yesterday that these DUO 4th generation tests by ECLIA are cheeper and not upto the mark or not as sensitve as Western Blot. Yes, i confirmed today that there is a huge difference between combination test and Wb test. Cost of Duo (combination of P24 and antibody 1&2) is just approx $20 (Rs.1500) and Western Blot cost is far high approx $128 (Rs.11000) and i heard that WB also detects some specified subtype which these combi tests does not and WB is more sensitive. After 2yrs u think i have to perform this test and are combi tests are not as sensitive as WB. Please experts help me what to do. Thanks.
I hope you took it seriously as i shall provide you the evidence/proofs of that transex stopped working and closing of his site and proved he is living with HIV and i had unprotected oral sex with him 2yrs back..and all bla bla... having said all this..... If you are right, sure and confident... i will remember you and Lizzie Lou and others, when my wife and future kids will play in my hands after years n years ...... Big hugs to you and Lizzie Lou.... Yes, you don't need anymore testing and can resume sex with your wife, as you don't have an HIV concern.
