I must not be asking this right, I know that 3 months is a conclusive test, has anyone tested negative at 10 weeks and then positive 2 weeks later? if so is it like 1 in 100? 1 in a million? Or do all people with hiv test negative at day 89, then on day 90 automatically turn positive? So would a 10 week test be like 90% accurate? do you get what I am trying to ask?
Not reliable enough to give you a conclusive result. It's gives you an idea how your final test result will come out.
thanks teak, I am aware of that,
my question was how reliable is a 10 week negative hiv test?
Yes, 3 months post exposure is when you can obtain a conclusive test result.
