Please, not at this time !!

I know I probably sounds foolish but I just cannot get rid of this from mind ...

My full possible exposure is as follows:

Dec 2007  Unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex with a CSW.
After which I tested in Jan, Feb, Mar and Jun 2008 for all STDs including HIV - all negative.

Sep 2008  Unprotected masterbation (hand job) from 3 different CSWs
After which I tested in Jan 2009 (3 months mark) for all STDs including HIV - all negative.

Mar 2008  Intestinal surgery with minimal blood involved - no blood exchange.

So the last Fri (17 Apr) I went for a pre-marital test; but today when I called the hospital they said the HIV test wasn't finished yet ... which immediately brought me the fear that it could only take so long if it's sent to CDC for confirmation test of Western Bot ...

OMG ... I know I sound foolish and I truly hope I am wrong and it's just my anxiety ...

Help please there ... Thank you so much.

Teak, with all due respect I have looked myself in the mirror and realise i'm not 100% perfect. As for advising ksxy to seek a less risky life, i'd say that was good, caring, honest and meaningful advise that was given in good faith and with his best interest at heart. To advise someone to "clean up" their lifestyle is not a crime.

Other than that, Teak, keep up the good work that you are doing.

God Bless

Move on. The OP didn't have a risk. Risky lifestyle? He had protected sex, no risk. Masturbation is not risk. Before you go judging anyone look at yourself in the mirror.

Based on what you said, these are low-risk activities. However i would recommend you seek a less risky lifestyle in the future...it really isn't worth it!

Please be easy!  There is no need to make a fraud when your hosptial get an positive result. They did not say there is a reconfirming .So ,take it easy .Moreover ,you were never at any risk of HIV transmission.

You were never at any risk of HIV transmission, based on exposures you mentioned. Believe your hospital, they might have not received your results yet from the clinical laboratory. They did not say that we are reconfirming,,, did they?
