I agree with worried9999.
You got better chances of winning the next lottery than testing positive for HIV.

The doc here has also said in the past that the chances of transmission from a man to a woman through unprotected vaginal sex is about 1 in 1000.

So, do the math.  Let's say the chances that this guy was HIV+ was 1%.  The chances that you contracted it from him is 1 in 1000.  Then, let's say the chances that you tested negative 5 weeks and 4 days after exposure, but then would turn out to be positive is about 2%.

0.01 * 0.001 * 0.02 = 0.0000002.  That is one in 5 Million!!!!!!!!!

I found an old thread of the doc's that you might find helpful also.

From what I understand, giving oral sex is NOT a risk.  I have read things that disagree with that statement.  However, even the people that believe that it is a risk will tell you that it is a an EXTREMELY small risk.

The bottom line is this:

1) It is unlikely that this guy had HIV.
2) HIV is hard to transmit.
3) The Doc here estimates that around 95% of people who would turn positive would do so by 5 weeks.

The odds are WAY in your favor.

Sorry, wrong thread.  Anyway, you are almost at 6 weeks.  The doc here says that 6 weeks is conclusive.  It would be very unlikely for your negative result to change.
