Hiv testing conclusive

Hello,

I am a male, 9,5 weeks ago i had unprotected receptive sex for a short moment, no orgasm was involved. After that we used a condom.

Since that moment i am living in fear of being infected.

I had a screening for all STD's and all came out negative at 8,5 weeks fortunately.

Clamydia/Gonnorea, Swap and urine test 8,5 weeks negative
Syphilis test 8,5 weeks negative
Hepatitis B 8,5 weeks negative

Concerning HIV/HCV I had the following tests done:

AG/AB HIV 1+2 test: 3,5 weeks negative
AG/AB HIV 1+2 test: 5 weeks negative
AB HIV 1+2 rapid screenhome test 6 weeks : negative(JAL innovations)
AG/AB HIV 1+2 test: 8,5 weeks negative
AB HIV 1+2 rapid screenhome test 9 weeks : negative JAL innovations)

HCV AB test: 8,5 weeks negative.

I have been feeling "strange" ever since i read about the symptoms of conversion-flu.

After 9 weeks i started to feel weaker and like having the flu(which everybody has around here this time a year, esspecially my colleagues).

My doctor says my lymph nodes are not swollen(i think one moment they get bigger every day, the other i feel nothing).

No rash, no fever!

I am completly stressed out for months now.

I have 3 questions:

1)Let's say i am (co)infected with HCV can this delay P24 antigen production(i know it can delay antibodies HIV), iow are my HIV tests conclusive(the AG/AB test is considered to be 99.8% conclusive at 28 days)?

2) If HIV 1 is ruled out, can i still be infected with HIV 2(it's very very rare here in europe but i want to be sure)

3)Does anybody know the window period of HIV 2?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my questions,

Rgds Joep

Yes you can get HIV2 but it is unlikely, but that doesn't matter because your test is conclusive.

Vance,

thanks for responding so fast.

What confuses me is that on the other hand you say i cabn still be infected with hiv 2 and on the other hand you say i am negative.....

1) Not going to play the "what if" game
2) yes
3) Same as HIV 1

You are negative.
