Getting a cut from glass covered by tape?

The reason why I'm asking this question is because I got cut from broken glass that was covered with tape on the same day that someone else got cut by the same tape covered glass.I don't know anything about the person that got cut before I got cut from the same object, but is there a potential risk of getting HIV? And would the tape keep the virus alive, and prevent exposure to the air if there was any blood underneath?

This is a ZERO RISK scenario.  No one has ever become infected with HIV in this manner.  It has NEVER happened.

Risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.

Don't do either of those, and you'll never have to worry about HIV.  There are no "what ifs" that you can add to this scenario that would make it a risk - including the tape.
