Valtex and Seroconversion Dr. Stupid and Teak
I do have one question about my tests over the past three months. I had my 3 month test yesterday and will expect the results back by Friday.
I am wondering if Valtrex will give a false negative (virology question) on either the antibody or PCR testing? I was taking it when I went on vacation because i had received news that I was HSV2 positive (6.4). I have never had an outbreak and can not imagine where I contracted HSV 2.... college??? I have not taken Valtrex since returning in the middle of this past April.
By the way Teak.... my doctor ran the P24 so late because both antibody and PCR were negative, and her opinion is that if both of those are negative ther must be protein (P24)

Your doc sounds a little wack and i hope you didn't pay for that p24 test.
