Blood and Eye

Hi everyone,

Today a customer in a shop I work in rubbed his hands together (which had several plasters on) and I think i might have felt something hit my eye. Am I correct in thinking this isn't a risk of HIV, as there would need to be a lot of blood for a potential exposure (0.08%??) ??

Thanks and God bless

Even if it was blood it's still no risk, because getting blood in your eye is not a mode of HIV transmission. You can relax now.

No risk. To even think that something hit your eye and it was blood because someone rubbed there hands together is a sign of some anxiety and maybe some therapy would help.
