Am i hiv infected?

Hi sir, i will start the story directly, nine weeks ago exactly on 11th September i had sex with a sex escort  while i was visiting Prague, the girl had no reference at all, i was using candom BUT one hour before we had sex I shaved the hair below and had some wounds, i was so drunk and we did it for about 40 minutes and she was so wet , plus we had deep kisses and breast liking, and usually i have bad habit of eating my mucus membrane of my mouth and usually i have several cuts in my mouth. Three weeks ago I started having symptoms which is so likely to those of hiv like mild fever, diarrhea for long time, chills, sore throat, fatigue, body pain. Till now I'm having the same symptoms and also developing to further symptoms like joint and muscle pains, dry mouth, neck pain extreme fatigue, nausea, nodes pain, the only symptom that I don't have is the body rash...
I am in a real nightmare, specifically that my innocent wife is having similar symptoms, I'm really dying slowly of that fears, I know I need to get tested which I already did twelve days ago using a simple hiv test kit and it was negative, but I know I need to wait until 12 weeks passes to get accurate results. All my close friends are telling me maybe these symptoms is due to panic and anxiety of fear, but I feel the symptoms are so typical to hiv early stages. Please advise me and tell me your opinion.

Thanks a lot

The condom protected you and the cuts are irrelevant otherwise all football players would be infected. Ever see how hard they hit each other, and the cuts they get from it? Try to relax until you take the test, which is a waste of time since you can't have it.

4th generation tests are conclusive at 6 weeks according to the CDC and 4 weeks according to most experts. Since you have worked yourself up into severe anxiety and your wife is involved, I suggest you take the test now so you can use the results as your placebo to relax. Perhaps you can tell her you want to use a condom to prevent the flu from passing back and forth (while you secretly wait for the test results) - maybe you can say you found someone on google who got flu from sex?

It is pointless to try to connect symptoms to an undiagnosed disease. The fact you can't have HIV also proves that, so try to stop thinking about all these symptoms (which are likely just a flu like everyone gets a few times a year) and they will likely disappear.

Thanks a lot for your valuable reply, but I'm so much concerned about the long period of that symptoms which I never experienced in my life, I'm 42 years old and it never happened to have such a long mild symptoms
Any other options please?!!
LRossi's post wasn't an opinion - it is a fact.

Risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.

You did NOT have a risk for HIV.  Whatever symptoms you are experiencing are caused by something else - NOT HIV.
Thanks a lot for your information, you really made my fears calm down big time, i was in nightmare and I hope I'll come out of it, I'll make the test in few days to make sure.
Thanks again
Most HIV worriers who don't have HIV claim "symptoms" that are mainly in their head or they have self-misdiagnosed their flu .

Nothing more to consider about HIV, however I suggest you need to direct any "symptom" possibilities to your doctor to see if you have some other disease if you feel something is amiss.
I am hiv positive
No, you cannot be confirmed HIV positive.  If you are, it is not from this event - else I'd expect to see your case in medical journals.

Even if you got a positive test from this event, it is almost certainly a false positive.  A person cannot be confirmed as HIV-positive without follow-up tests, each of which take several days to a week to return results.  2 days ago you said you were going to test in a few days.  There's no way you would have confirmed results back that this point even if you tested at a clinic 2 days ago.
Also, the timing and duration of your symptoms don't line up with ARS, and if you took a test when you were actually experiencing symptoms (which you did), and if those symptoms were due to HIV, your test would have been positive.
I saw the test kit my self and the line is there
Can this kind of test kits draw false line??!!
Yes the line is not very clear but its there
Please advice
False positives can and do occur.  You are NOT confirmed HIV+ without the necessary follow-up tests that must be done by a qualified clinic.
What is these tests exactly that i have to go through??
I'm really destroyed
I am sorry but your story does not hold.
There are four possibilities:
1) You are lying to us about being seropositive. In case you need serious psychological help to "laugh" about such a sad and difficult conditions. I unfortunately think this is the most likely explanation as no doctor would simply bombard you with such a news without doing a more certain test such as Western-Blot.
2) This is linked to my previous answer but you could be a false positive but no doctor would just do one test and kick you out of their office without further testing.
3) You did not tell us everything from your incident and you were more exposed than explained. Our evaluation was based on what you gave us and I still firmly believe you could not have contracted HIV from this event.
4) You contracted HIV from another previous event.
Dear LRossi,
1- I'm not lying in a word of what i said.

2- I just want you to understand that i live in dubai and i made the test in Egypt  (My home country) and here in Egypt there is no wide cultural or understanding for hiv so i made the test in a normal lab that has these kits and just gave and showed me the result, its not a proper doctor.

3- yes there was another previous incedent but was so similar and i had a cut but this time the cut happened when she was on top and due to her motion my skin was stretched and i had a long cut in the line between my leg and testicles and she was wet also but i thought the distance was far to catch the virus.

Hello, you did not risk HIV from the exposure you describe here.  As stated by our members, this is not how HIV is transmitted.  If you feel there is a question regarding this through previous tests, do a confirmatory test.  We understand complex dynamics with the location in which you live in, however, we can not help you further with this.  Our site adheres to the opinions of experts in the field of HIV and what is a risk and what is not.  As this is not, we suspect your test may be a false positive but only a confirmatory test will tell you this.  There is really nothing to add to that so we are now closing this thread.  We wish you the best.

No qualified physician would rate you as HIV+ without doing confirmatory tests.

So please guide me what to do to make sure, your advises is my only hope now
According to Dr. H.H. Handsfield, Zack Medical Clinic is the most reputable for HIV and STIs in Dubai, you should consult with them. But Dubai has good quality doctors and labs, I highly doubt that no qualified doctor has confirmed an HIV without further testing.
As I mentioned to you earlier, i did the test in Egypt, as in Dubai it is governmentally monitored about any hiv positive case will be screaned and deported from Dubai immediately
This is again completely untrue... The UEA might not be the most progressist country in the world but HIV treatment is even covered by the Minister of Health. The problem is the total lack of communication about STIs.
I don't know, i never dealt with any of them, what I'm sure about is the monitoring of MOH about any positive case will be immediately deported.
Regarding my case please tell me if there is further action i have to take to make sure about my status or shall i consider my self positive and start looking for treatment?!
