False Positive?

I am at 6 weeks now.

I know I can go and get a test. I dont yet because of two reasons:

1. Public Health has given me a 9 day, 10 day, and 3 week rapid tests all negative and told me to stop testing until my 12 week in Sept. They wrote down in my chart not to give me anymore tests until then.

2. I am scared I will test positive and would rather live in ignorant bliss.

The other thing that scares me, what if I get a false positive? Would they tell me "you tested positive for antibodies? Or do they keep quiet and do a Western Blot test before they scare the **** out of you? I would hope they wouldnt say anything to you until the Western Blot.

I am only asking because if I am told the antibody test is positive I am afraid I might do something to harm myself.

I want to take my best friend but they dont let them in the room with you due to "privacy reasons." That is ****. If I want her to come they should listen to me as I give my consent to have her there.

Me too. I've been pondering if I should take someone with me when I test and await the results. I don't want to do anything crazy that would make the situation worse.

They should double and triple check if its a pos. Cuz people can do crazy things if they think they're pos. Thats too scary to think about.

I posted this question because somebody on this forum posted today about how they got a false positive...I just know I would do something to harm myself if I tested positive or got a false positive.
