Received unprotected oral

3 weeks ago, I met a man for him to perform oral sex on me. He started giving me a hand job and then put my penis in his mouth. Within 1-3 seconds I pulled my penis out of his mouth as I realised I didn't want this.
I'm now freaking out over maybe getting HIV as I don't know his status.
In the last 3 weeks, I've developed a cold, I've had a sore right groin and I've had a burning feeling on my right arm which has since disappeared.
I'm very anxious about this and have had issues sleeping and focusing on normal tasks. Please help.

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".

The need for a repeat HIV test if still within the window period after a specific exposure should be discussed. Although fourth generation tests shorten the time from exposure to seroconversion a repeat test at three months is still recommended to definitively exclude HIV infection.

I went to the local GUM clinic and the doctor advised it was a low to zero risk. He tested me there and then, he said at 23 days the new test looks for HIV as well as antibodies so it's accurate.
Result was back the following day and he said it was negative. I know you said it was no risk but it's hard to shake that feeling.

Not a concern. Saliva contains over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibits HIV transmission.

I assume the risk is theoretical in that there would need to be a large quantity of blood from the person giving the blow job and me having a large open wound on my penis? Or them bleeding directly into the opening of my penis?
