You never had a risk of hiv infection from oral sex, blood or no blood, because saliva renders the virus inactive from the many different proteins and enzymes it contains. You can stop worrying about this situation now and no further tests are required.
Thanks allot getright. I really like this forum as you experts reply very quickly! I asked the similar question on the STD forums and jessyjames2010 informed me i was a low risk for HIV for the oral sex. I'm guessing he said that because you can never rule out the 0.01 percent chance the virus could be transmitted orally. Anyway thank you for your input.
Thats right. No one in the 30 year history of hiv has ever contracted hiv via oral sex, sure you will hear about some documented cases but they have never been substantiated, therefore there not true. You can relax now and know that your safe from hiv infection.
I have noticed that alot of people are getting anxiety attacks due to thinking HIV can be spread orally. I am an old man and have lived a very full life therefore I am not too worried about the results as I know with medication, I can still have a normal life however I noticed a lot of young men on here worrying about this question about orally transmitted HIV so For the benefit of the community and to ease the minds of these individuals, I will post the results to my HIV test I took a few days ago. My experience involved unprotected oral sex with large amounts of blood, a fresh wound on my penis, weak metabolism and a potentially HIV + sex worker. I say potentially because I did not get her from an agency but instead she approached me in the middle of the night and we arranged to meet at my hotel a few hours later. Also she had no condoms with her so i had to go to the pharmacy and get some. I think I have reached the peak of ideal situation for HIV to pass through the body orally due to my open fresh wounds on penis and her bleeding gums along with her high chance of having the virus. If I don't get it under these extreme situations, then it is highly unlikely the virus can be transmitted orally.
