Refused a HIV test?

so i went to the clinic to get a test and the doctor refused to give me a HIV test over a frottage incident, she stated that the vaginal fluid produced during rubbing/frottage whilst naked cannot transmit HIV, as HIV can only ever be transmitted during unprotected intercourse... this confirms what everyone on here has said. but why am i still worried?

Sorry, I assumed you were talking about a GP.
As she was at a sex clinic, I'm not surprised.

well i was at a sex clinic, not an ordinary doc at a private practice. the one i saw said she's been doing this for 24 years.

but why is it that some docs aren't so knowledgeable about these sorts of things? they should be right seeing as they are doctors?

Actually I'd be impressed that the Doc is knowledgeable on transmission.  There are some that are not.
Definitely do not worry over this situation and remember to always use condoms for vaginal and anal sex.
