I was exposed on march 21 last year in thailand,so i counted the weeks and got tested on july 12,so thats more than 3months,rapid ict, result is negative. Another one is pre employment medical 2nd week of august, negative hiv result (not sure what kind of test they did). Third is last week of august i remember reading western blot test and elisa. ALL TEST ARE HIV NEGATIVE. should i be worried? Enlighten me thank u.
This looks like an antibody only test. This would be over 95% accurate at 5 weeks. Most HIV infections would be detected between 4-6 weeks. You can re-test at 12 weeks for conclusive results.
is this test are accurate after 5 week exposure?
So Rapid ICT is an accurate method?
Yes, that's a negative result.
