3 months test...enough ACCURACY?

Hi, I'm worried because ALL POSTS I read on thebody of people who turn out to be positive they do it after the 3 months mark....why's that?? are their stories true??? I can't sleep. I've got my 89 days elisa 4th generation negative test in my hands and still can't believe it because I read all these scary stories of people writing that they had their pos test 4/5 months post exposure...is REALLY the way how this works? Is the 3 months mark REAL, in the practical field??? or people get pos during the 4 and 5 month???

please, I really need to know this..

thanks

still symptoms....experienced itchy rash sort of folliculitis all over my body 2 weeks after exposure as well as a pharyingitis that is still going on...I'm scared to death...

Your chances of getting positive are likely very very rare,... Specially, ELISA is most sensitive to detect the antibodies... 12 weeks are enough for confirmation but tests taken after this 12 weeks mark are just to be extra sure... Don't worry, relax... Center of Disease Control & Prevention says that 97% of people show up within 3 months but its very rare that some people take as longer as 6 months... So, the window period is defined as 3-6 months... The stories that you've read are may be of those 3% people..

You should be examined by a doctor for the symptoms you have... these probably are something else...
