Risk factor

about a month ago I had sex with a woman who turned out to be hiv+, it was protected and her viral load is undetectable due to her use of medication, and though I understand that the latter piece of information is highly subjective at this point in determining whether it is harder to pass the virus while the load is undetectable I can still hope it helps my chances, It is now 4 weeks since the event and I am wondering what the probable risk that I have been infected is, I have shown none of the symptoms of acute hiv infection as of late except for a soar throat but since it was accompanied with a runny and stuffed sinuses and mucus coughs I can only rule it out as the common cold of course the absence of symptoms in the case of hiv does not guarantee that I have not been infected as I understand it, I am getting tested regardless , would it be prudent to get tested at this point in time? would it yield a definitively accurate result either way? and what do you suppose the probability that I have contracted it are?

A conclusive result is 3 months after exposure.  But you did not have a risk so go ahead and test now.  You will test negative if the situation you report here is your only risk.

Encouraging words, but I still plan on getting tested anyway just to be 100%, would getting tested now give me an accurate answer? or should I wait a few weeks?

STOP giving wrong advice!!  The risk is not very very low.  The risk is zero.

Two things that will cheer you up are;
1. Your risk is very very low becaused you used condom.
2. Viral load is important to pass HIV to other person because of this fact doctor use to
    say that there are 1 in 1000 chances to get infected if you have sex with HIV infected
    women.(Varginal Sex).  (1 in 100 anal sex)

You had protected sex.  Why do you think you had a risk?  I presume the condom was intact otherwise you would have noted that fact.  Condoms are very effective at preventing HIV infection.  No risk.  Zero is the probability that you contracted HIV after protected intercourse.

absence of symptoms?  how about absence of a risk :)

using a condom protected you from having a risk of contracting hiv.
