It is a mucous membrane, but there are other factors that would need to be present to allopw for transmission. This would NEVER be a risk.

No risk Saliva and stomach acids would render the virus inactive. HIV is transmitted by SEX and using sharing DRUG rigs,. I doubt your daughter is doing either.
