Hi - believe it or not, this wasn't about me, I'm ok thanks to you. I just realized the other night I needed to become better educated about STDs & HIV. I've been reading, & trying to make sense of it. The only example I have to to use was my own & of course other people's that may pertain to me. Some won't, as in using sex workers.

HIV doesn't die,it is either active or inactive and from the situation you have described the virus would have become inactive and therefore unable to infect you.It can't survive outside of the body on fomites like towels or tissues,etc.You never had an HIV concern.I would forget about this incident because you have posted this before and were given correct advice as to why you had no risk.
