Hello teak, I am able and trying to control my anxiety but sometimes thought comes in my mind that may be that general doctor is right and have analyzed something different in terms of window period which HIV experts and CDC missed it. DON'T YOU THINK, I AM REALLY STRESSED AND GETTING ANXIETY SHOCKS. Believing wrong information is anxiety??? I am trying to control it, all this anxiety because of wrong information from general doctors and internet. TEAK DO YOU THINK, COUNSELLING WILL HELP???
If you fear you have a problem and can't determine between right and wrong then yes, counselling wouldn't hurt. Will it help? Only time will tell and it won't be done over night or a few days.
I don't have a problem but just coming in my mind that if that general doctor is right then but I know how can HIV experts from all over the world can be wrong who has done a lot of research. YOU TELL, IN THIS SITUATION THE BEST WAY TO GET OFF FROM IT TO JUST FORGET THAT THING AND THINK THAT GENERAL DOCTOR WAS WRONG???

You know what all this anxiety is because of wrong information from that doctor. Actually a doctor said that is why it is always coming in my mind, may be doctor is right. If a general doctor is giving wrong information about HIV, then he is difinetely wrong means I should not have any reason to believe him right??? Even I know that HIV experts all over the world is giving the right information, HOW can 1-2 doctors giving wrong information can be right who even don't specialize in HIV??allthesigns, what do they do i counselling, they help pacify the fear.
They will help you rid of your completely irrational thoughts. If they think your condition is serious enough, you might even be referred to a psychiatrist who can prescribe medication.
oh man, i don't want to take medications, thats really bad. But tell me that wrong information given by doctor normally leaves the bad impact like this on people???
For crying out loud. You are beating this into the ground. Your doctor was wrong. Go to a Clinic and ask them.
actually I cannot ask to that doctor because this i read in one forum where a person posted that a general doctor told to him about. Even that forum doctor told that person to complain about that general doctor who gave wrong information, so TEAK this proves that general doctor was wrong.RIGHT. A specialized doctor only can refute the general doctor.RIGHT.????
Teak, but one strange thing is that he said that CDC and HIV experts are misinformed. How this is possible??? Ho did he say that??? Is he really bluffing people??

Actually this doctor was on some site (online doctor) which earlier in his credentials when I asked about HIV was a general physician for normal diseases, but now he has changed his credentials from general physician TO general physician who deals with HIV(he has changed his credentials in two days), WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??? Is he faking the knowledge just to market himself???

means online doctors are not trustworthy??? They can be fake also??? only real doctors, one should believe??? I heard that only medhelp.com and thebody.com are reliable HIV consulting site, other sites are not reliable for consultation. My site was not these two but some other. But when these fake sites doctors are not reliable, then why are there on the web which hurt people??? shouldn't they be banned???
credited sites are fine! Regardless you need to see a professional! Key Word "SEE"
what do you mean by credited sites? means online doctors can give wrong information because they don't know your history and all, but this basic information of window period was given by that online doctor, means he is not competent for that.RIGHT. Only after seeing a doctor, that doctor can give right information, a person should rely only after visiting the doctor in his clinic???
