Shotty lymph nodes

My boyfriend and I have been dating for the past 6 months. We are monogomous so we decided that we would use birth control pills instead of condoms. Recently I have noticed lymph nodes that are about the size of a pea on the sides of my neck and my groin area. They have been this way for the past month or so.I have never noticed nodes like this on myself before. However, when I spoke to my boyfriend about it he said that he has them as well and has had them for quite a while and never thought anything about it. I am worried because I have now researched this and the symptoms point towards HIV. Neither of us are aware of ever being exposed, but both of us have had unprotected sex with previous partners.

I have also had a UTI infection recently that does not seem to want to go away even after antibiotic treatment... not sure if this would have anything to do with it or not.

The most common symptom of HIV, is a high fever that lasts foer a couple weeks, any number of things can cause lymph nodes to swell, and with hiv its very noticeable, usally bigger than a pea, normal lymph nodes are pea size, just go get tested to ease your mind, you should be fine, odds are in your favor........
